What are your theories and/or thoughts&opinions about extra sensory perception ?

A few of my friends and I really need information on this type of subconcious power .

There’s no proof that ESP is real. I’m a science student in college, and I would’ve heard if such a thing was proved as real. Some people have keener levels of the five normal senses than other people do. Some have such high levels that they may seem to naive people to have extra senses, but they don’t really have them.
It would be nice to say that we have some supernatural abilities. Not sure if we do, but there are always strange incidences occuring, by the 1000′s. A friend once told me that since we are all spiritual beings of God, that we have certain abilities that are beyond anything human. Have there been serious government-funded studies on the subject to actually say yes or no, that such abilities exist? not sure.

My opinion is that there is enough evidence to conclude (at least tentatively) that something named ESP is at work.
The Ganzfeld experiments, while not perfect (no experiment is), has provided substantial evidence in support of ESP (link below). Other experiments since the mid 1800′s through current research have provided supporting evidence as well.
While this information is made known through our senses (we see it at least in our minds or hear it etc.) there has not yet been any evidence that humans have some extra sense that could detect information at a distance.
However, this may not be required as we may already have the information and just need to access it (like recalling a fact you hadn’t thought about for a while) and we do know that the brain is capable of retrieving information that is has stored (as memories).

ESP has never been proved to be real when tested under scientific conditions. And it is quite easy to test using Zener cards.

Plus there is no real 6th sense or 3rd eye or any other physical way that a message can pass telepathically from one person’s brain to another.
I KNEW you were going to ask that!! [sorry,just had to do it]. I think esp is a hangover from a much earlier time in human development,when being acutely aware of any tiny alien sound,or air disturbance,or the peripheral glimpse of a shadow movement or feeling of encroachment,was the difference between EATING and BEING eaten. In the times when homo-sapiens was struggling to establish a place at the top of the food-chain,having highly attuned senses made survival a lot more likely. In the present version of that same homo-sapiens,these senses have dulled to a huge extent-but not entirely,and not universally.
Its very real and anyone can open there 6th sense. L&L.
