ouija boards?

January 3rd, 2012

Question:
Every time I hear about someone messing around with ouija boards, they say something freaked them out.

I have never messed with a ouija board before and I don’t plan to. I’ve had enough nightmares since watching the movie the Exorcism of Emily Rose and have feared evil spirits since. I used to be very superstitious and I told my sis about it once and she said I shouldn’t worry so much and she said that all I have to do is not mess with a ouija board and nothing bad will happen to me. I don’t want to mess with a ouija board and I never plan to but I’m curious as to WHY evil spirits come when you contact them witha ouija board, and WHO thought of ouija boards. I’d just like to know everything you know about ouija boards like their history, who came up with the idea, why evil spirits come, just things like that. And if you’ve ever had any experiences with a ouija board and how it made you feel, you may share that also. Thanks.

I actually answered a thread about Ouija boards some time ago on Yahoo answers, and it’s pretty scary.

    Here’s my perspective:

I actually began playing it when a teammate of mine brought it over with his girlfriend. He explained what to do and we played. We immediately picked up something. We played together and asked many questions and the board would answer very quickly. I thought that they were pulling my leg so I decided to ask it a few questions about my house that I only know. To my surprise the board answered all the questions correctly.

To make a long story short- I began played it by myself and more things started to happen to me. The game does expose you to ‘something’ things occurred all around me. My parents at first didn’t believe me when I told them of all the sights, noises and weird things that were occurring to me; until the spirits started to manifest into their lives. They began seeing things, hearing things having objects move and lights/TVs turn on and off.

It wasn’t until things started happening to them that they started believing me. Although I was terrified of the board at this point, and knew that I shouldn’t play with it, I could not help myself playing it for hours. (I never had an addiction but I guess that’s what addicts feel.) I could not stop. My research into what was happening to me took me to religious leaders (priests), academia (scientists) and first hand interviews with people who played or knew people that played.

    Here’s the results:
It is bad- it is evil and it’s not a game.

The scientist that lectured in my university explained that he had documented evidence that show ‘weak people’ are more susceptible to being influenced by these evil spirits. The research of this man (and my own question to the ouija board) -of why mostly evil spirits are attracted to the game came back with a response that ‘they are stuck” in this place and want to experience the ‘feelings of your actions’.

Most spirits target the weaker minds- drug addicts, alcoholics, smokers, fornicators, criminals- because they get to feel the evil vibes (energy) when someone commits these bad things. (These spirits want to you commit bad things because they will also feel it.)

Although most of the spirits you’ll meet through the ouija board are bad-evil spirits there are some spirits that are good. (My approximation is about 10%good they are their because they are also ‘stuck’ or come through ‘to protect/defend you’. There were many times when good spirits tried to warned be about some evil spirits.

Ask yourself the question, why do most criminals say they ‘hear’ people talking to them before they commit hideous crimes? Why is it that most inmates are drug addicts, alcoholics, chemically imbalanced (crazy) individuals that don’t believe or reject God? These ‘weak of mind’ individuals are the prime candidates for these spirits to influence.

By playing you absolutely open your mind, for these spirits to communicate with you. They will try to influence you to do bad so that they could experience the feelings/energy with you. They ultimately want to take over your body. (I won’t go in the specifics about that).

    How did it end…?
I spoke with a priest (second one) about the ouija board and what was happening to me and my parents. (I was astonished that the first priest instead of helping me, wanted to recruit me to become a priest.)
I guess he interpreted these signs as God’s way of pushing me towards service. (Sorry not me…)

Anyway- the priest come over blessed every room of the house. As soon as he did that I felt liberated. I was able to control my urge to play it. After about 2 weeks I got rid of it.

Sorry for the length of this answer- but this ouija board is not a game. If you look at the history of it – it was an instrument to communicate with the dead that the peagans created. It’s ancient and it does produce bad things to occur.

Stay away from it, learn form other people’s mistakes 9like mine). IF anything learn how I was able to stop.

Good luck on your informational journey….

it is just a harmless Parker Brothers game

  3. Abriel Lokiskona says:

A ouija board is like any other tool…it is neither inherently bad nor inherently good. It is the intent of the user that makes it bad or good. I think one reason why weird things tend to happen with ouija boards is because like anything else that’s meant to help you connect with the other side, it opens up a door. And if that door is opened up by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing, or doesn’t care what they are calling up, or doesn’t know that they need to dismiss that something formally…well, stuff can happen. Ouija boards can be useful you just need to know what you are doing and not treat it like some Parker Brothers game.

I used to mess with it years ago and yeah it scared the crapt out of me, never had a visit from an evil spirit, but me and my friend were messing with and I was asking I guess personal questions about it or whoever and the dumb thing was on our laps the broad got hot and the eye went flying, mom wouldn’t let me mess with it again till I promised I would not ask personal questions..It is very bad news to mess with..The last one I ever used got burned on the bar-o-que pit…

  5. Sandy G says:

“The Exorcism of Emily Rose” was a BAD movie — it is about as true as The Matrix or Dumbo the Flying Elephant.

There are no such things as evil spirits. It is easy to give yourself a fright if something unexpected happens and you are in the right frame of mind. That is what happens with Ouija boards. No spirits are involved. — just suggestible people.

  6. Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah says:

It’s all psychosomatic. The Ouiji board is just a stupid game made by Milton Bradley.

  7. Je veux changer le monde says:

Ouija boards do not release evil spirits. They are a tool for allowing a person to use THEIR innate “mystic” skills. When two people put their hands on the “EYE” they combine and link their skills, and they can get information from the “Spirit” world. It doesn’t release demons, spirits, or ghosts. It is simply just an extension of the person, or persons, using it. It allows ones mind to travel into another realm. This does mean that while the persons mind is open that it may open them and make them more susceptible to supernatural forces – positive or negative. It is not used to conjure evil, but is nothing more than a tool for using the sixth sense.

  8. Reverend Red Mage says:

Ouija is nothing more than cardboard and plastic. Nothing mystic about it. It’s a hoax.

  9. Stormwind says:

There is nothing evil about a parlor game. To be frightened of one is baseless superstition. The only thing that might happen would be your subconscious influence moving the thing around. Milton Bradley makes board games, not conduits for the undead.

  10. Jill says:

Well some people don’t believe they work that its just for fun.
Some people, Christians and Pagans alike, think they do indeed work and it opens the veil to evil.
I personally just take the safe side and stay away. I always try not to mess with things I don’t understand. It would just be luck, you know? LOL

  11. LabGrrl says:

There was never a single report of an evil spirit coming out of a Ouija board before The Exorcist came out, and the claims ALWAYS increase whenever a new DVD version is released.

Why do you think that is?

  12. the_kingdom_of_god_is_at_hand says:

Games like this are of the Devil…

  13. Shalabra says:

    It’s BS.

    That is all.
